This Tirol girl Hampelmann (jumping jack) is made of wood and then hand-painted. She is 7.5 inches tall and is wearing a red dirndl and Bavarian hat. When you pull the string her arms and legs move up and down.
The first Hampelmann was created in 1832 by Carl Malss and are still popular German toys with young children today.
