We are committed to delivering your handcrafted German treasures quickly, safely, and reliably.
This Shipping Policy explains how and when your order will be shipped.
1. Processing Times
1.1 Order Processing
Orders are usually processed within 1–3 business days.
Processing times may be slightly longer during peak seasons (especially November and December).
1.2 Made-by-Hand & Seasonal Variations
Many of our items are handcrafted or produced in limited quantities.
If an item requires additional handling time, we will notify you immediately.
2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
2.1 United States Shipping
We currently ship within the U.S. using USPS and other trusted carriers.
Typical delivery times:
- Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days
- Priority Shipping: 2–4 business days
Delivery timelines begin after the order has been processed.
Free Shipping (When Offered)
Free shipping promotions apply only to standard ground shipping unless otherwise stated. Free shipping does not apply to priority, express, expedited, or any other faster shipping methods. Customers selecting an upgraded shipping option will be charged the applicable shipping rate at checkout.
2.2 Tracking Information
All orders include a tracking number emailed to you once your package ships.
2.3 Shipping Delays & Carrier Responsibility
Delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Once an order has been shipped and a tracking number has been issued, the carrier is responsible for transit and delivery. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier disruptions, peak holiday volume, customs inspections, or other circumstances beyond our control.
If your tracking information shows a delivery issue, delay, or misrouting, please contact the carrier directly using the provided tracking number. If you need assistance locating your tracking details, we are happy to help.
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:
- Weight
- Package size
- Destination
- Shipping method chosen
Fragile or oversized items may require special packaging to ensure safe delivery.
4. Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses
Please double-check your address carefully during checkout.
We are not responsible for:
- Delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses
- Packages returned due to incorrect address information
- Additional shipping costs for reshipment
If your package is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange reshipment (additional postage may apply).
5. Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages
Once a package is handed to the carrier, delivery is out of our control.
5.1 Lost in Transit
If your package is marked “Lost” or has not updated for several days, contact us and we will assist in opening a claim with the carrier.
5.2 Marked as Delivered
If the carrier marks your package Delivered, but you cannot find it:
- Check with neighbors
- Look around porches or alternate drop-off points
- Contact your local postal facility
We cannot replace items marked “Delivered” by the carrier.
6. Damaged Shipments
We package our items carefully, especially fragile wooden pieces.
If your order arrives damaged:
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
- A photo of the item
- A photo of the box and packaging
- Your order number
We will replace the item or issue a refund, depending on availability.
7. International Shipping
At this time, we only ship within the United States.
International shipping may be added in the future.
8. Holiday Shipping
During the holiday season (November–December), shipping carriers experience higher volume.
We recommend ordering early to ensure timely delivery.
