About Deutsches Haus

The founders, Otto and Gisela were born and raised in Germany. They came to the United States more than 40 years ago and settled in Minnesota.

In 1965, they began selling stereo systems complete with a built-in bar and electric fireplace imported from Germany. You may remember them from the many shows and fairs they participated in throughout the United States. They were then known as GST Company. About 30 years ago they evolved from the stereo business to what is now known as "Deutsches Haus."

At Deutsches Haus , you will find many heirloom quality and novelty gifts from the old world.

Deutsches Haus is still a family owned business which has now moved into the second generation.
